Passage of the Bankruptcy Bill in Judiciary Committee

109th Congress, 1st Session

On March 16, 2005, the House Judiciary Committee passed the bankruptcy bill by a vote of 22-13. The vote was along party lines, with the exception of Democrat Rick Boucher, who voted with the Republicans in favor of passage. Two Republicans and three Democrats did not vote on final passage.
